The Xodus Steelers are a Scottish based rugby club that brings together international legends to compete annually at the Dubai Rugby Sevens.
Formed in 2004 as the Bone Steelers by former Scotland rugby Captain Andy Nicol and Colin Bone the side shifted its focus to Veterans rugby for the 2009 tournament. This proved a great success with sponsors, media and charities all benefiting from the increased exposure as Xodus Steelers. The management is now lead by Rowen Shepherd and still includes founders Colin and Jeremy Bone along with former Scotland A prop Ross McNulty, Keith Dobson and club Captain Stuart Reid.

Chris Cusiter & Stephen Swindell 2010
In 2009 the Steelers returned to the Dubai Rugby Sevens stage with a group of former legends of the game including Gregor Townsend, Glenn Metcalfe and Duncan Hodge to compete in the International Veterans Tens Tournament where they reached the semi finals of the trophy. The Steelers went one better in 2010 making the final played out on the ‘big pitch’ in front of 40,000 fans. It is hoped that 2011 will be the year The Steelers can lift the prestigious International Vets trophy!
The Steelers are renowned for bringing together some of the biggest names in world rugby to compete in the shortened version of the game, whilst helping to raise money for charity, increase exposure for sponsors and provide an exciting environment for ex Internationalists and the rugby community to come together.
